Athura: End of an era
20/06/11 || Lord K Philipson
With a note accompanying the CD saying “Hi, we love what you guys do. Any reviews/feedback would be fantastic. Thanks!”, they score extra points right away. If we were to rate that note it’d be a nice score, but as you know we don’t work it like that. Athura is UK modern metal band with the obligatory jump da fuck up-riffs and some thrashier passages thrown into the mix. It’s not completely shitty but it’s also very fucken far from awesome. As a bonus, someone forgot to turn up the snare in this sub-par production.
4/10: You got a long way to go, guys. Godspeed and all that shit.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
